FRIDA (Foggy Road Image DAtabase): evaluation database for visibility restoration algorithms
FRIDA and FRIDA2 are databases of numerical synthetic images easily usable to evaluate in a systematic way the performance of visibility and contrast restoration algorithms. In any publication related to the use of these image databases, your are kindly requested to cite one of the following reference: "Improved Visibility of Road Scene Images under Heterogeneous Fog", J.-P. Tarel, N. Hautiere, A. Cord, D. Gruyer and H. Halmaoui, in proceedings of IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV'10), San Diego, California, USA, p. 478-485, June 21-24, 2010.
