An architecture for enterprise application integration with Web services using MDA
This paper presents an architecture for Enterprise Application Integration with Web Services through the creation of meta-models in MDA(MODEL DRIVEN ARCHITECTURE). The proposed architecture includes the use of XML under tocol to provide abstraction and semantic to the middleware to integrate legacy applications with Web Services. Through the creation of Platform Independent Models -PIM, other companies of the same domain area can use them to provide better integration solutions for their legacy systems. The integration with Web Services is proposed, due to the great tendency in the creation of business applications with Web support. The use of this architecture will provide larger flexibility in the integration of business applications with services in the Web, without the need of specific firewalls use. KEYWORDS Enterprise Application Integration, Web Services, MDA, XML.
