away concepts from the surface form of the text. The authors argue that while there has been research into automatic classification, general classification schemes are unsuitable for this domain-specific application. In this paper, the authors take their existing approach and apply without tuning to the domain of biomedicine, a field that generates a tremendous amount of data annually, overwhelming researchers. They highlight the current state of the biomedical domain and how they view their role in the research area.
