Averaging attack resilient video fingerprinting
— This paper addresses an effective technique for digital fingerprinting for video. While orthogonal modulation technique is a straightforward and widely used method for digital fingerprinting, it shows limitations in computational costs, signal effectiveness, and robustness against averaging attacks. Code modulation technique that uses averaging collusion resilient fingerprint code derived from BIBD is a robust method against averaging attacks. The strategy described in [2] requires determining threshold values to detect embedded fingerprint code, but threshold changes frequently according to contents and the number of colluders, so that it is difficult to decide threshold. In this paper, we propose a new fingerprint code based on GD-PBIBD theory that is more efficient in designing fingerprint code and describe an effective method to embed and detect fingerprint code, in which the merits of orthogonal modulation and coded modulation techniques are combined. To analyze the performanc...
