Documentation Tool: An Object Oriented Model for Electronic Library Management

This work is in the domain of Electronic Document Management (EDM) [1]. The documents can be an electronic writing, an image, a sound file, a network protocol message, a set of data organized in a file. The principal objective of this paper is to design and implement an electronic lib rary [2] based on an object oriented approach [3]. This library will be used as a documentation tool by the different participants in a scientific community of teaching and training environment. In the design of this library we have to design and implement storage method that uses XML [4] format for the scientific documents.
