Expressing Preferences in a Viewpoint Ontology

This paper proposes a deﬁnition of viewpoints in a “kind of” ontology. The use of viewpoints allows one to simplify user interface and to facilitate the expression of user preferences on such an ontology. This work has been applied in the framework of an information system dedicated to the quality of food products.
