Fuzzy Guidance In The Aerodynamic Homing Missiles

A fuzzy tail pursuit guidance algorithm is proposed as an alternative to the conventional guidance methods. The purpose of this scheme is to obtain an control agains to the changing target maneuvers and noisy measurements. In this paper, an aerodynamic missile model is simulated first and the realistic aerodynamic missile coefficients are interpolated in the model, then, the fuzzy tail pursuit control algorithm is applied to the aerodynamic missile model. The performance of this algorithm is compared with the performance of the classical guidance control method and the encouraged results are shown.
