Fuzzy logic in organization analysis and control
This work points out advantages for the application of fuzzy logic in organization analysis and control. From the presented motivations we propose both a managerial control cycle and a computational approach as alternative ways to support managers in management control systems when analyzing an organization's performance. Its main goals are: to provide quantitative management, with visibility into the organization's performance progress; to minimize the human task in the analysis and control of the organization's performance; to design a framework with the flexibility and the capability to incorporate experts' knowledge about the organization's analysis and control. To reinforce the proposed approach, we have applied it to a case study performed on NEC from Brazil S.A.
