Gapbnf_Rule: A Genetic Miner Rule
The aim of this paper is to present an evolutionary system for classification problem called GAPBNF_Rule. GAPBNF_Rule is a powerful evolutionary method that distinguishes between the genotype and phenotype. The genotype is a list of integers which represent productions in a defined syntax while phenotype is an SQL query. The performance of the GAPBNF_Rule is measured with a set of data and compared with the performance of two existing systems: ESIA and Clustering GP. Preliminary results support that GAPBNF_Rule is an effective system and is competitive with ESIA and Clustering GP. KEYWORDS GAPBNF_Rule, Evolutionary Algorithms, Classification task.
