The National Grid Service of the UK

This paper describes the current status and programme of continued development and support for the UK’s National Grid Service (NGS). Through the activities presented in this paper, the NGS will evolve to form the central component of the UK’s eInfrastructure for research, providing integrated access to research facilities and resources across the UK and internationally.
