Abstract. In this paper we presentperformancemeasurementsin a cluster environment. First, we briefly explain our version of optimistic concurrency control and load balance.Then we compareperformanceand speed-upof a CORBA- and an AspectC++-implementation of a distributed object serverfor pessimistic and optimistic concurrencycontrol.
