Semantic Modeling of Successive Events Applied to Version Management
ntic abstractions classification, aggregation and generalization are extremely useful for modeling complex situations containing time-independent events. This paper shows that they also can be used successfully for modeling of successive events. Here, two situations can be considered: ordering and sequencing. Both will be illustrated with practical examples on workflow and version/configuration management. The solutions do not require special constructs and can therefore be implemented in any programming environment.
