A Structured Conceptual and Terminological Framework for Software Process Engineering
The importance of a clear conceptual and terminological framework for software process engineering and the shortcomings of previous clari cation attempts are discussed. A rst issue of such a framework is described focusing on the general "universe of discourse", on software process models, on the meta-process which handles software process models, on process-centered software engineering environments which interpret enforcement-oriented software process models.
