Ultrametric Watersheds

Abstract. We study hierachical segmentation in the framework of edgeweighted graphs. We define ultrametric watersheds as topological watersheds null on the minima. We prove that there exists a bijection between the set of ultrametric watersheds and the set of hierarchical edgesegmentations.
