Virtual Dublin - A Framework for Real-Time Urban Simulation
We present a description of an urban simulation system work in progress. The goal is to create a large-scale immersive simulation of Dublin City that can then be used as a research test bed for various further projects including crowd and traffic simulation, and distributed graphics research. The long-term aim of the project is the evaluation of methods of handling of large data sets efficiently in real-time. Keywords Real-Time Animation, Urban Simulation, Occlusion Culling.
