In this paper, we presenttwo packagesthat simulate the multilevel feedbackqueueschedulingalgorithm for a single CPU,andfive pagereplacementalgorithmsthat areusedin the context of memory management.The paper gives a brief descriptionof the interactive, self-pacedpackagesand explainshow weusethemin OperatingSystemcourses.We alsohighlight the merits of the packagesandthe benefitsto thestudentsderivedfrom our Javawritten simulations.
