Michael D. Breitenstein

Dr. Michael D. Breitenstein graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2006 and earned his PhD with research about computer vision and pattern recognition.
He did part of his research at Oxford University and at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs in Cambridge, US. Before, he worked as a software engineer in San Francisco and Zurich. During his PhD, he co-founded a company for open innovation. Michael co-authored more than ten peer-reviewed conference and journal papers, is inventor of several patents, and won the ITG Innovation Award 2009 for his dissertation.
