On a Tomographic Equivalence Between (0, 1)-Matrices

Tilings of the plane by translation show interesting regularity in the disposition of the tiles: in particular, we point out that in the case of a single tile, the obtained congurations are invariant by one translation. Furthermore, in the case of rectangular tiles, such a translation is the horizontal or the vertical one. Then we restrict our analysis on invariant matrices and we furnish a characterization result which links together invariance and homogeneity. Mathematics Subject Classications (2000). 05B45, 52C20
