Securing Data Transmissions and Retransmissions Management in Ad Hoc Networks
We present in this paper a solution exploiting existence of multiple paths between nodes to secure data in Ad hoc networks. This solution is also designed in the aim to give the network the possibility to manage retransmissions securely if there is lost or errors. Exploiting the existence of multiple paths in an Ad hoc network increases the robustness of transmitted data confidentiality, because it is difficult to an attacker to be active on many paths at the same time. Recently, there are several proposed solutions treating authentication, availability, secure routing and intrusion detection etc, in Ad hoc networks. An overview of some current solutions and then details of our proposed protocol are presented below. Keywords-- Security, Ad hoc Networks, Confidentiality, Routing, retransmission.
