The purpose of this paper is to provide some understanding on the key forces impacting on the successful evolvement of m-commerce in the US market from Mobile Network Operators’ (MNOs) standpoint through using Porter’s Five Forces model. The key to success in m-commerce is dependant on the power relationships among five forces: rivalry, supplier, buyer (customers), new entrants and substitutes .
