Cognitive Radio Design on an MPSoC Reconfigurable Platform
Cognitive Radio has been proposed as a promising technology to solve today's spectrum scarcity problem by dynamic spectrum access. The MPSoC reconfigurable platform is proposed as an enabling technology for Cognitive Radio. In this paper, we propose a design methodology based on task transaction level interface for the design of Cognitive Radio baseband on an MPSoC reconfigurable platform. The reconfiguration of a novel low complexity FFT for OFDM based Cognitive Radio is used as a design case to show the effectiveness of the methodology for modelling the dynamic behavior of Cognitive Radio and facilitating the platform implementation.
