Sincesituation awareness (SA)contributesto andis a crucial part of missionsuccess, significant effort is nowbeing placedon developingnew technologiesthat havethe potential of increasingSAfor the missioncontroller. This paper describes the design and developmentof an on-line situation assessmentmodelfor unmannedair vehicles that is based on humanbehavior representation(HBR).Theessential feature of this model its organization aroundthe skilled human'ssituation assessmentbehaviorin a complexmulti-task environment. Simulationresults are presentedfor a SEADmission.
