Stabilization of a class of sandwich nonlinear systems via state feedback

Abstract— In this paper, we consider the problems of semiglobal and global internal stabilization of a class of sandwich systems consisting of two linear systems with a saturation element in between. We provide necessary and sufﬁcient conditions for solvability of these problems by state feedback, and develop controllers for semi-global and global stabilization.
